Top of the Town Indian Wedding | Anshu + Ankit

What do you get when you mix a ridiculously fun couple, one of my favorite reception venues, Top of the Town in Arlington, a gorgeous day, lots of camera time with the bride and groom, a genuine group of family and friends who love to party, plus a dash of Indian spice? Well, you get THIS…

And then there was my favorite part of the day… photographing bridal henna.

I always love it when my couples decide to do a first look. This allows them a private moment to embrace the beauty of the day before the activities commence.

The Barrat was one of the most fun parts of the day. During this portion of the ceremony, Ankit got on a horse and rode up to the the Hindu Temple.  Ankit’s family and friends accompanied him during the marriage procession while fantastic Indian music was playing.

I had tons of fun hanging out with Anshu and Ankit, and their friends and family.  Anshu and Ankit, thank you so much for trusting me with your Wedding day, and congratulations!

Many thanks to my second shooter, Ian Sbalcio.  Finally, a special thanks to Ani Sandhu and his staff at Ace of Events, who kept this wedding day flowing perfectly.
